| The
Plymouth Plant was established in 1949 and was rebuilt
in 1966 to the present 6 Yard Windslow Plant. Batching
is by a Winslow plant with 6 cubic yard batch size
with: 4 aggregate bins / 150 ton capacity; 4 cement
silos with 2,000 barrel total capacity; 6,000 gallon
water tank which is insulated and heated by a boiler-2,000
gallon cold water tank onsite. Admixtures include
an air entraining admixture, two water reducers,
a non chloride accelerating admixture and calcium
chloride accelerator. Batching computer is by Auto
Control Model 80-40. Batch operations are in a remote
location in the batch office / showroom / shop /
office building away from the concrete plant. The
newly constructed 14,000 square foot Plymouth Plant
was built in 1989 with futuristic tilt wall-type
construction and on-site poured walls sandwiched
with styrofoam insulation. The upper level is modern
offices and the lower level is a spacious showroom
and batching facility, machine shop with lobe pit
area, parts store room and warehouse facility for
all plants. The Plymouth Plant also has separate
paint and sandblast rooms. |
