| The
Knox Plant was established in 1959. It is equipped
with batching by a Winslow Plant with a 6 cubic
yard batch size, 4 100 ton capacity aggregate bins,
1 cement silo with 300 barrel capacity, 6,000 gallon
insulated water tank with boiler, and 3 heated inground
bins for 300 tons of material storage. Admixtures
include air entraining agent, two water reducers,
a high range water reducer, non chloride accelerating
admixture and calcium chloride accelerator. The
computerized batching operations are comtrolled
by Auto Control Model 80-40. |
